Identify locations with GLN
The Global Location Number (GLN) identifies companies and parts thereof such as locations, branches, warehouses as well as organisational units such as purchasing, sales or billing addresses.
The GLN is a globally unique identification key to identify locations and company addresses uniquely and without overlap. Over one million companies worldwide are identified with a GLN.
You can easily manage and publish your GLN with the GLN Search: This way, all your business partners have quick and easy access to your public data, and you can also easily query your partners' data in return.
There are two paths leading to your Global Location Number (GLN):
10 location identifications (GLN)
With the package of 10 location identifications you can identify your company, production sites and/or loading bays. The correct use of the GLN is described in the GLN allocation rules.
