Make sure that your barcodes are easy to read
The GS1 Barcode Verification Service tests the perfect readability of GS1 barcodes and GS1 2D codes on labels and product packaging as well as direct part markings (DPM).
The service checks the print quality, data structure, set-up, and dimensions for conformity with GS1 standards.
Note: We recommend verification if problems occur in scanning the codes. Furthermore, if you pass the verification, you can be sure that you have complied with the GS1 standards.

You will receive the GS1 verification report by e-mail within five working days of receipt of your mail. In it you will receive detailed feedback on the result of the verification. This report is available in either German or English and is always a snapshot based on the submitted code.

GS1 verification reports will be sent to you by e-mail within five working days of receipt of your mail.
For Members of GS1 Switzerland, the first 10 barcode verifications per calendar year are free of charge. Express orders will be processed within two working days and will be invoiced with a CHF 50.00 express surcharge.
For Non-Members we charge a fee of CHF 100.00 per GS1 barcode / GS1 2D code and test trial.
